    Not an amazing sushi place, really. The service was excellent -- attentive, friendly, quick. Though that may have been because we were the only people there. Prices were not exorbitant for this part of Paris, but the sashimi wasn't anything to write home about, there were no interesting types of maki available, no dishes aside from sushi, sashimi, maki, miso soup, and yakimori, and the sake was mediocre at best. 3 stars mainly because they were very nice, but I would not go back here again, unfortunately.

    I came here with a few of my colleagues, and as we arrived right at noon we beat the lunch crowd. There was nothing remarkable about this particular restaurant except perhaps the chicken gyoza, which tasted delicious and was surprisingly moist for being chicken, but had me burping the rest of the afternoon (I can only assume that the gyoza was the culprit, as the flavor was distinctly chive).

    The lunch sets, which consisted of sushi or sashimi or skewered meats or some sort of combination of the above, were surprisingly expensive. They came with miso soup, of course, and a vinegary starter salad, but the mains were basic for Japanese fare and didn't warrant prices of 18+ euros! My salmon sashimi was filling enough in the moment, but I had to add heaps of wasabi, as well as soy and vinegar sauce to give it any flavor.

    Once the lunch rush took over, the waitresses promptly forgot us, and we even had to ask them to refill our jasmine tea. It took a while to get the check, and when we finally did pay and leave, one waitress nearly bowled me over on her way to serve other customers. My "Merci, au revoir" went unanswered.

    My colleagues were equally taken by the gyoza in the moment, but I didn't get a full report on their dining experience as one had to dash to an afternoon meeting and we got caught up in hailing down our waitress for the bill. I'm not sure I'll investigate further: I've made up my mind. Next time I'll try another sushi place in the area. This surely can't be the best option.
